Sweet, termie. I really have to get the Jaiku Federation going up here with the @nitobi gang

Strange. This: http://www.jaiku.com/channel/jaikuengine/presence/2f74fda72ac74f949c69bb56a2deae8e shows up in my overview but this: http://www.jaiku.com/channel/jaiku/presence/8d7daa859d784acab90767ff1510b211doesn't. The only difference between the two is that I'm an admin on #jaikuengine but not on #jaiku.

    Is this a bug?

  • ymb

nope, the jaiku engine post also showed in my stream, but i am also following you, so might have got it from that.

Did external link behavior change to open in a new window? Cause I didn't notice that before, and I find it rather annoying.

    7 months ago by novemberborn

  • kimbach

@novemberborn - I believe that that has been the behaviour since the port to GAE

  • termie

  • jyri

Yay. The 'click to insert screen name' below the comment text entry field is going to take some getting used to :)

  • adewale

@lemonad: You weren't the only one who made that mistake. I kept wondering why I wasn't seeing the changes.

  • lemonad

@termie: The rss/atom feed links seem to be broken though. I just noticed that in my-ku the other minute but you weren't on IM so I had no way of warning you.

    7 months ago by lemonad

  • lemonad

@termie: It's because request.path is / when running with subdomains enabled. It probably works fine in standard my-ku. I can probably get a patch uploaded asap.

ohhh all those avatars to click under the reply form, are too vertical.

cant it be more like jaikungfu, with just nicks?

    7 months ago by BUGabundo

  • lemonad

Empty the cache or shift-refresh, your not seeing the new style sheets.

    7 months ago by lemonad

  • BUGabundo

ahhh that makes it all better! thanks @lemonad

    7 months ago by BUGabundo

  • BUGabundo

oh and you mean ctrl+f5, not shift.... ehe at least on Firefox on Wind and Linux

  • mobiledan

Sweet! Great job!I really wish I knew more then just how to use Jaiku so I could actually be useful!

    7 months ago by mobiledan

  • adewale

@mobiledan: Helping out on #jaiku is one thing everybody can do

    7 months ago by adewale

  • alexleonard

Heh. @BUG I think he meant shift & click refresh.

I personally like ctrl+shift+r as there's less finger stretch than there is getting to the f5 key.

I need to get out more.
